Our 'Far-Away Cottage' was completed on the 27th of December 2003 - just in time for the first guests. It has since become immensely popular with visitors and geckos alike. It's the ideal getaway for 2 but can accommodate a group of 4.

The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other one with two single beds. The kitchen, which is also dining and living room, is fully equipped with all utensils, a small gas fridge and 2 stoves (wood and gas). A sofa to relax as well as a small dining table provide some extra comfort. The bathroom has a wash basin, flush toilet and a shower (with a view).

Nothing disturbs you here, yet the farm offers a dam to swim and relax, tracks to follow by foot or mountain bike, and the gorge for the seriously adventurous. An outside bath invites you year-round to cool off in a truly unique setting.

The Far-Away Cottage is a little more rustic than the Orange Cottage. Geckos are frequent visitors. They do leave their marks, but they also eat mozzies. :)
